Who we are and why Disney?

Where does one start when trying to explain why they love something like this? Like most Americans growing up, I visited Walt Disney World with my family for that once in a lifetime family trip. Well, I did not take full advantage of what I was experiencing or the quality time that I was having with my family. After that trip, I knew that it was an extreme long shot if we ever took a trip like that as a family again because a trip to any Disney Park was and is still extremely expensive. Fast forward 15 years and I was entering the business world and I wanted to learn just how business worked. I began to research companies and one that I looked at for guidance was the Walt Disney Company. I started reading and asking questions about Walt himself and I fell in love with his drive, desire, and passion to help make the world a better place, one smile at a time. My passion for the Disney Company isn't rooted in the Films or the Parks but the fire that burns within me is and will always begin and end with Walt himself.

That brings us to today. It is now my desire to carry the torch that Walt left for us and to help make the world a better place than I found it. With the vision I have put forth, to my team assembled here, I feel that we can do just that. The Main Street Chronicles and Imagination Radio Network and more importantly BRS Productions have been established to help others realize and achieve their dreams, when they may have never thought that they were even possible. Whether you have a dream to have your own Podcast or your own YouTube Show. Maybe you have a dream of being a writer or a photographer or you have another passion that you would like to share with the world, reach out to us and see if we can help. You never know unless you at least ask first.

Together we can make the world a better place and we can add some Disney Magic to the lives of others, who may not have known that they needed it.

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible."

I grew up in a family that took frequent trips to Walt Disney World throughout the 90s and early 2000s. The nostalgia I have from the memories of these trips sparked a passion for the parks and everything that goes into creating the stories we all love. I spent days reading through websites, guide books, biographies and anything else I could get my hands on to learn everything I could about the history of the parks and the people that made them possible. Now, I enjoy getting to visit each year with my wife as we experience all there is to offer and create new memories.

Steven Walker

Narrator (S1), "Jock Lindsey" (S1- Episodes 1, 2, 3, 5), "Merriweather Adam Pleasure" (S1- Episodes 1, 5), "Dr. Albert Falls" (S1- Episode 2), "Duncan" (S1- Episodes 2, 5), "Lord Henry Mystic" (S1- Episodes 3, 5), "Manfred Strang" (S1- Episode 3), "Tour Guide" (S1- Episode 3), "Barnabas T. Bullion" (S1- Episodes 4, 5), "Jason Chandler" (S1- Episodes 4, 5)

Growing up with Disney in my home 24/7, I would always mimic the character voices when they would come onto the screen. My all-time favorite character is Goofy! He and I are similar with our comedic demeanor, and lovable southern drawl. I recently took my wife and children for the first time to Walt Disney World and one of my dreams came true... I got to MEET GOOFY and speak to him in his voice! Goofy loved it, and I just about passed out from excitement! I love doing wacky voices and impressions to help cheer up anyone that hears! Working as the producer and a voice actor for several characters on The Main Street Chronicles, has been and continues to be, an amazing opportunity. It’s an honor to be a part of this family of Disney lovers that puts so much work into delivering a top notch, accurate, and exciting podcast. KUNGALOOSH!

Hanna Burnett

"Alberta Falls" (S1- Episodes 2, 5)

As a child of the '90s, I grew up on such classic Disney movies as Beauty & The Beast and The Little Mermaid and dreamed of one day becoming a Disney Princess. Outside of crafting a few costumes, though, this was not meant to be. Instead I've crafted a wonderful patchwork of a performing career that I never dreamed of, but it is still a dream come true!

In addition to voiceover (and dreams of someday making it big in the cartoon world!), my current performing home base is Boston Duck Tours of Boston, MA where I work as a ConDUCKtor narrating sightseeing tours. I also moonlight one day a week as a Hospital Clown with Hearts and Noses Hospital Clown Troupe! On top of all that, I find time to perform more traditional theater with various Boston area theater groups, primarily in musical theater and Shakespeare.

Rachel Cook

"Mary Oceaneer" (S1- Episodes 2, 5)

After several Walt Disney World trips in early childhood, I became an amateur Disney historian and expert, poring over endless volumes of official and unofficial guides, and scouring the internet for images of abandoned attractions such as 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. If I had a time machine, I would travel to the mid 1980's to relive Epcot in its former glory, or to the 1964 World's Fair. Though originally from upstate New York, I moved to Florida in 2010, and have been an annual passholder ever since. I now live in Orlando with my husband and sweet pooch. If you can’t find me at home, you'll probably find me at Trader Sam's, watching the bar stools go up and down.

Becca Malburg

"Abigail Bullion" (S1- Episode 4)

I'm Becca and I've been a Walt Disney World fan since my first trip in the 90's. I'm (semi) embarassed to say that the pink "Pepto Bismol" Cinderella Castle is my favorite, because it was the first Walt Disney World castle I ever saw (I even collect merchandise with the pink castle on it). I keep going back trip-after-trip because I love the atmosphere, the rides, the joy on little kids' faces, and (above all) the food. My favorite park is Animal Kingdom, but my favorite area of any of the parks is Adventureland (I'm a sucker for puns and dad jokes, so Jungle Cruise is a must for me). Every time I go back, I love finding new and interesting little details - I can't get over how much time and thought is put into every little thing at the parks. While I've recently discovered that I'm not great at Disney movie trivia, I can crush any competition at Disney park-related trivia. I'm super excited to be a part of this podcast, and I can't wait to see how the story unfolds!

Samantha Mlodecki

"Camellia Falco" (S1- Episode 5)

All things Disney bring me an infinite joy- from the parks, to the movies and the lessons we can learn from the ideals of Walt. I have learned that creativity can take you very far in life, if you have the vision and motivation to never give up. This might be the most important lesson I have taken from experiencing the parks as Walt envisioned them. This is how Disney magic keeps me moving forward and trying things that I never thought were in my realm of possibility. I love experiencing Walt Disney World with my daughter and seeing the spark in her eyes as she snuggles characters, dances to the music on Main Street and squeals with glee on Slinky Dog Dash. I also take advantage of park days alone, soaking in every minute and using those single rider lines to my advantage. For as long as I can see into my future, the Disney parks will always be my home away from home and I will eagerly await each return trip.
