Fortress Explorations is a uniquely-themed interactive play area at Mediterranean Harbor at Tokyo DisneySea, in the fictional Italian port city Porto Paradiso. Explorer's Landing, a meeting place for members of the society of explorers and adventurers, lies at the based of Mount Prometheus.
The fortress is designed to look like a mid- 15th century citadel. There are many levels of chambers and halls connected in many different ways, making exploring and navigating the fortress itself an exploration. You can pick up maps as you enter.
Inside the fortress, you can find a pendulum, the Illusion Room, Explorer's Hall, a Navigation Center, and metal plates located around the fortress used for the Leonardo Challenge. The challenge map is entirely in Japanese, so tourists might have a harder time completing it, but you use a map to walk around the fortress and solve puzzles.
