Who we are and why Disney?

Where does one start when trying to explain why they love something like this? Like most Americans growing up, I visited Walt Disney World with my family for that once in a lifetime family trip. Well, I did not take full advantage of what I was experiencing or the quality time that I was having with my family. After that trip, I knew that it was an extreme long shot if we ever took a trip like that as a family again because a trip to any Disney Park was and is still extremely expensive. Fast forward 15 years and I was entering the business world and I wanted to learn just how business worked. I began to research companies and one that I looked at for guidance was the Walt Disney Company. I started reading and asking questions about Walt himself and I fell in love with his drive, desire, and passion to help make the world a better place, one smile at a time. My passion for the Disney Company isn't rooted in the Films or the Parks but the fire that burns within me is and will always begin and end with Walt himself.
That brings us to today. It is now my desire to carry the torch that Walt left for us and to help make the world a better place than I found it. With the vision I have put forth, to my team assembled here, I feel that we can do just that. The Main Street Chronicles and Imagination Radio Network and more importantly BRS Productions have been established to help others realize and achieve their dreams, when they may have never thought that they were even possible. Whether you have a dream to have your own Podcast or your own YouTube Show. Maybe you have a dream of being a writer or a photographer or you have another passion that you would like to share with the world, reach out to us and see if we can help. You never know unless you at least ask first.
Together we can make the world a better place and we can add some Disney Magic to the lives of others, who may not have known that they needed it.

I grew up in a family that took frequent trips to Walt Disney World throughout the 90s and early 2000s. The nostalgia I have from the memories of these trips sparked a passion for the parks and everything that goes into creating the stories we all love. I spent days reading through websites, guide books, biographies and anything else I could get my hands on to learn everything I could about the history of the parks and the people that made them possible. Now, I enjoy getting to visit each year with my wife as we experience all there is to offer and create new memories.
All things Disney bring me an infinite joy- from the parks, to the movies and the lessons we can learn from the ideals of Walt. I have learned that creativity can take you very far in life, if you have the vision and motivation to never give up. This might be the most important lesson I have taken from experiencing the parks as Walt envisioned them. This is how Disney magic keeps me moving forward and trying things that I never thought were in my realm of possibility. I love experiencing Walt Disney World with my daughter and seeing the spark in her eyes as she snuggles characters, dances to the music on Main Street and squeals with glee on Slinky Dog Dash. I also take advantage of park days alone, soaking in every minute and using those single rider lines to my advantage. For as long as I can see into my future, the Disney parks will always be my home away from home and I will eagerly await each return trip.
I was born in Scranton Pennsylvania, yes, I know that’s where the office is set! My family moved to central Florida when I was very young, but Disney just wasn’t in our budget. However, I loved anything and everything about Disney, the movies the shows, the music, it was all incredibly magical to me. As I got older, I started to research more into the history of Walt and the company and I became completely enamored with it. The fact that they laughed at Walt on numerous occasions and made fun of his ideas, only for him to prove them wrong and still be gracious about it showed dedication and dignity in the face of adversity. I joined the Marines after September 11th and served for 13 years until I was medically discharged with ptsd and depression. Disney has been a place that brings me peace while I’m there. (except when it’s too crowded lol). I truly believe without that stress relief, I would have never got through that period in my life and never met my wife. Disney is more that just a company or a tourist trap, it’s a truly magical place that has the power to bring joy to a very troubled society. When I’m not at the parks, I am watching documentary’s about it while making my hats to wear to the parks.

I have been a lifelong Disney lover. My aunt initially sparked my interest as a child through the Disney Classic VHS tapes and trips, and it has continued throughout my life. So much so that I recently moved to Orlando in January to pursue my dream of living near the mouse. The little details inside the Disney parks and the stories they tell make me love exploring to find out more information. Besides loving Disney, I am a pediatric occupational therapist and love helping the kids and families I work with.
