Big Thunder Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a mine train roller coaster located in Frontierland at many Disney Parks. It is known as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland and at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World and as Big Thunder Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris.
The backstory for the attraction follows a gold rush overnight in a mining town in the American Southwest. Natural disasters, which vary in each park's backstory, destroyed the town and mines overnight leaving the town of Rainbow Ridge abandoned. Still later, the locomotive trains for the mine were found to be running on their own without engineers, this allowed wanderers to take travel on the possessed trains.
